An intensive weekend workshop for men designed to jump start the process of healing from sexually compulsive behavior.

This intensive weekend workshop will create effective strategies targeted for long-term success using the following tools:

• Breaking through denial

• Understanding orders of change

• Establishing sobriety

• Damage Control

• Re-establishing trust

• Positive sexual focus

• Preventing relapse

• Understanding the neurochemical process

Cost: $600 which includes a light dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.  All study materials and books are included.

Recovery JumpStart is facilitated by Bob Weaver and David Rennard.  Both are Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Certified Sex Addiction Therapists.  Bob is a staff therapist with Chicago Christian Counseling Center and also sees clients in our Oak Park office.  David Rennard is an ordained minister of the United Church of Christ and has experience in community mental health and private practice settings.

This intensive weekend workshop will provide opportunities for families to use strategies and tools to:

• Breaking through shame

• Identify existing strengths

• Eliminate negative messages

• Plan for emotional restitution

• Begin to re-establish trust

• Practice positive affirmation

• Prevent relapse

• Understanding the neurochemical process

Cost: $1200 which includes a light dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.  All study materials and books are included.
Note: For the effectiveness of the Family Recovery JumpStart group an initial in-office assessment is necessary for a cost of $100.

 for teenage girls ages 13 - 16.

This Girl Talk group will focus on Relationships for Life and address the importance of healthy relationships with parents, peers, and self in a group format.  Subsequent Girl Talk groups will address issues such as Addiction, Stress, Womanhood, and Faith.

This group is facilitated by Karen Suppes, MA, Licensed Professional Counselor
