What to
Expect When You Call Us
All calls to the Chicago Christian Counseling Center are forwarded to our main office in Orland Park. Our friendly office staff will do a brief "telephone intake" with you. If you plan to use your insurance benefits, you will be asked what network they are using for out-patient mental health. If you do not know, our staff will be happy to coach you on how to find out. You may also want to find out what your "in-network" and "out-of-network" benefits are and if you need an authorization for services. This information will help you make educated decisions as to the professional you want to provide your counseling services. You will be asked your name, address, contact phone number(s) and any phone message restrictions. We will also ask what issues or concerns prompted you to call us so we can best match you with a therapist, unless you have already been referred to a specific therapist. If you will be using insurance, we will also take that information so we can file your insurance claims. Once our office staff has matched you with a therapist in the office you want to be seen in, they will schedule your appointment. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to your first appointment to fill out appropriate paperwork or print the New Client Forms from our website to conveniently fill them out at home. If you are using insurance, please bring your insurance card with you. Please know that at Chicago Christian Counseling Center, we comply with all state and federal confidentiality laws.
