What to Expect When You Visit Us

When you arrive at one of the Chicago Christian Counseling Center offices you will find warm and comfortable waiting rooms.  We'll give you a clipboard with some sheets to fill out.  These sheets will ask for some basic information, will inform you of our payment requirements and will also let you know your privacy rights.

If you are in our Orland Park office during the day, a receptionist may ask if you have your insurance card and they will copy it for our records.  Otherwise your therapist will copy it instead.

Your therapist will come out to greet you.  The goal for the first meeting with your therapist is to connect with you, help you feel comfortable and to answer any questions you may have about our credentials and/or training and experience.  We will also seek to understand the situation you wish to discuss and we'll begin to formulate a plan of treatment with you.
